This weeks Roundtable will have a special guest, Blake from Troop 9168. He is collecting toys for Dallas Scottish Rite Hospital. Please bring a new unwrapped toy suitable for a hospital. Portable games, art supplies, barbies, hot wheels, legos, action figures, coloring books, etc., are highly encouraged.

ATTENTION ALL WEB/AOL DENS AND PATROLS...
You are invited to participate in the TONKAWA DISTRICT WEBELOS WOODS EVENT: Saturday-Sunday (12/14--12/15, 2019) at Furst Scout Ranch in Flower Mound, TX. The registration fee had to be raised to $10 per cub scout participant and $8.00 per adult Cub scout Leader due to camping site costs. GO TO THE EVENT SIGN-UP GENIUS AT:
STEP 1—ACTVITY STATIONS SIGN-UP GENIUS: Please sign-up for the stations your Cub Scout Group (Indivivual WEB/AOL Group) would like to participate in. (You may choose to spend time on an outdoor achievement n the Cub Home Base/Camping areas as well.)
STEP 2. DINNER STATION SIGN-UP GENIUS: Please sign-up for the dinner station If you would like to participate in the evening scout meal.* A "Foil Pack Meal" is being offered as an extra station for an additional $4.00 per participant (Castaway Adventure Credit). *Dinner is NOT included with the basic registration fee and will be up to the Cub Scout group to prepare in Campsite/Home Base area if necessary.
STEP 3. EVENT PAPER REGISTRATION / PAYMENT: Please turn-in the final Event Registration Form and Payment. (The Form and Payment options were sent out through district email) The Event Registration Form (Paper Version) and Payment (Cash/Check) are both due at the December District Roundtable (FUMC Family Life Center--Thursday, 12/13/19).
**NOTICE: A $1.00 PER PARTICIPANT LATE FEE WILL BE ADDED TO TOTAL AMOUNT IF EVENT REGISTRATION IS PAID AT THE EVENT GATE.
MEMBERSHIP FEE ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE IN NEED
Recently the Boy Scouts of America announced a significant membership fee increase for youth in Cub Scouting, Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Sea Scouting.
We know the timing is not ideal for budgeting, planning and fundraising opportunities that exist for our Scouts.
The Longhorn Council Executive Board has approved a plan to help those most in need. A one-time assistance with the 2020 membership fee is available to help our Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing and Sea Scouting youth. Again, this is a need-based assistance program.

You may request up to $20 in assistance. Priority will be given to those with family income of $60,000 or below and those units who participate in the popcorn and camp card sales. Please note that while a request is submitted, it may not be granted or granted in full.
We will do our best to assist every family in need.
The application must be filled out in its entirety and submitted by midnight on December 15th.
By December 20th, upon approval of assistance, you and your unit leader will be notified. The approval must be printed out and attached to the unit recharter paperwork. The recharter paperwork and unit payment must then be submitted to either of our Longhorn Council offices. If your unit pays online or has already submitted their recharter and payment, we will reimburse approved amounts to the unit account.
