Cub Scouts have several opportunities throughout the year to participate in day events. These events are geared specifically for this age group. Some of the events are put on at a District level and some are put on at the Council level.
Tiger Cub Adventure Day
This event is designed to give new Tiger Cub Dens a fun activity with other Tigers to start their year with. Have fun, play games, and make crafts in an outdoor setting. This event is for Tiger Cubs only.
Cub Scout Field Day
Field Day is an opportunity to get the Cub Scouts out into the outdoors to enjoy games and activities. This District event is put on annually and has opportunities for the Scouts to earn electives towards their advancement as well as to have a good time. Past activities have included playing sports, making a fishing pole, learning first aid, shooting marbles, leather craft and more!
Cub Scout Day Camp
Cub Scout Day Camp is one of the summer outdoor activities available for the Cubs. Day Camp takes place every day over a week but does not include a camping experience. The event is themed each year and is coordinated through each District by the Council. In addition to the crafts, games and other events that are found, this is one of the only chances for Cub Scouts to participate in BB gun shooting and archery.
